Project Straylight is the amalgam creation of Chad Painter.

The name was inspired by the Villa Straylight from William Gibson's seminal novel Neuromancer.

 I wanted something out of this world to represent the project and the ideas that are spawned here. 

There have been numerous singles released under this project name and the freshman album is in the works as of the fall of 2023 with an expected release date sometime in late 2024.
